In a neglected alley consecrated by seasoned drifters, two-bit dealers, and cardboard shanties, a schizophrenic man leaps off the deep end of a midlife crisis to perish in the throes of his addiction. His lifeless body is then possessed by a deity that raises him from beyond death’s veil. Confused and saddened by the rush of a grief-stricken world, the god within is silenced, entangled with the mortal’s crippling dependency, a man driven to madness by worldly desires.
