Diane’s Abduction

The Characters

A whimsical creature resembling a humanoid plant with leafy arms and roots, seated while sipping water from a leaf in a cozy room.

Earl

Sidekick • Cynic • Philodendron

Earl’s real name is Phil, but he changed it, citing the need to go undercover. Earl is not an ordinary houseplant. He is a mystical, shapeshifting ‘Philly’ with an organic matter of disposition. He appears suddenly with humorous counterpoints to Jack’s chaos.

A young woman with long dark hair sits on the ground in front of a small grocery store, wearing a black dress and a backpack. She appears to be focused on her belongings, while a colorful vintage van is parked in the background with a few people visible inside.

Diane

Drifter • Anti-Victim • Conduit

Diane is a survivor, an abducted vessel taken as a child by the Grey. Trauma has wrung her out like someone who escaped a religious cult. But she is powerful from something more, something that bonded with her as a young child.

A man sitting on the floor of a featureless white room, looking up at a swirling spiral design on the ceiling.

Jack

Antihero • Mental • Prophetic

Jack is a complex individual marked by a troubled past filled with addiction, mental health struggles, and self-doubt. Unknown to many, Jack has a divine alter ego named Oro, who is rendered nearly powerless by the human condition.

A humanoid robot with glowing blue eyes, holding a tool, stands in a dimly lit room filled with scientific equipment.

Ruby

Guardian • Nurse Bot • Alien

Ruby is not from this place. She was crafted in the Void and has served the Nna as an elite servant ever since. She is an MK-1 Original whose primary settings serve to protect her patients but is designed with formidable battle protocols that were later discontinued. She is one of a kind.

A mystical gathering of ancient wizards, seated in dark robes, with one mage standing in the center, illuminated by a beam of light, creating an ethereal atmosphere.

Eni

Primordial • Knowing • Master

Always still. Eni does not pace or posture. He simply waits — and when he moves, he is already behind you. His network and presence on the High Counsel have given him power and autonomy. But is it all an illusion?

A mystical figure with multiple arms and long hair, surrounded by dark, swirling clouds. The figure has a serene expression and wears an ornate garment. Each arm is posed in different gestures, suggesting power and control.

Merciless

Mother of Darkness • Nature • Chaos

Merciless is the great antagonist, but not in the traditional sense. She is not evil — she is inevitability. She is the unraveling of structure, the eater of patterns, and the shadow cast by the Spiral when balance is forgotten. She has no single form but appears as beauty, dread, memory, or mother.
